Dental Insurance

Medical insurance or private health insurance in Australia is a growth area, despite the existence of a very good public health system.

However, health insurance uptake rates continue to grow because tax penalties are levied on those above the age of 30 without private health insurance. In addition, people wish to avoid the long waiting queues for elective surgery in the public health system.

Dental insurance however is often not covered by the same private health insurance policy, nor is a substantial portion of dentistry covered by Medicare.
