Ducati Motorbikes

If you're like most people, you would have heard of Ducati motorbikes but never really known exactly what makes them famous.

Here's the Ducati story: In the 1960s the Ducati Mach 1 motorcycle was released onto an unsuspecting public. Named after the speed of sound, the Mach 1 was one of the fastest street legal 250 cc bikes available at the time.

Recently, Ducati have added to their legend by winning multiple championships in motorcycle racing.

Ducati has won 12 Superbike World Championships since the event began in 1988. Two of these were won by Australian Troy Bayliss. Ducati also won the 2007 MotoGP World Championship with Aussie Casey Stoner at the helm.
