Vespa Scooters
Why are Vespa scooters so popular?
There are reasons both technical and stylish. Let's cover the technical reasons first. Vespa scooters have a complete engine cowling, which is a fancy way of saying that they have a cover all the way around their engines. There is zero per cent chance you could get grease or engine oil on your skirt or trousers with a Vespa. This enables you to use your Vespa when commuting to work or when you're going to an event which requires you wear your stylish clothes (not motorcycle leathers).
When it comes to style, Vespas have no peer. They are simply the most stylish way to travel on a motor scooter. As you may know, Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck rode one in the 1953 film "Roman Holiday". A Vespa has also been used in films such as "American Pie", "The Bourne Identity" and "Austin Powers".
