An Australian tourist has released a dramatic video he shot after getting caught up in the recent violence in Tibet. Mike Smith, a creative director from Sydney, joined a guided tour of Tibet hoping to witness the culture and natural beauty of the region.

"This short piece was filmed on a sunday afternoon road trip to beach side area called Waratah Bay in Victoria, Australia. The short film concentrates on themes of australian identity, exploring the mate-ship between four 18 year old males, surf culture and lifestyle, as well as capturing the rugged diversity of the natural environment in the South Gippsland area. The film uses no dialog as i believe concentrating on just visuals was more appropriate way to document our trip and gives the viewer
